Under the Same Sky [1] (Di Bawah Langit Yang Sama) is the 27th and final issue of the second season of BoBoiBoy Galaxy, and the 34th issue overall in the series.
Synopsis[]
The fate of the galaxy hangs in the balance as the final showdown begins! Consumed by the Elemental Power of Voltra, Kira'na's heart burns with a fierce desire for revenge against BoBoiBoy. Driven by a single-minded determination to ensure the safety of Planet Gur'latan and the entire galaxy, she will stop at nothing to achieve her goal, even if it means defeating BoBoiBoy.
With the fate of the galaxy at stake, BoBoiBoy Jungle and the heroes of TAPOPS must unite to calm Kira'na's wrath and prevent a catastrophic battle that could destroy Planet Gur'latan. Will they be able to overcome this deadly threat and restore peace to the galaxy once and for all?
Plot[]
The issue begins with a flashback of Kira'na and her father, Kul'dar. Kul'dar received news of Retak'ka's return and advises his daughter to stay out of the battlefield, against her wishes. Kul'dar instead tells Kira'naa to protect Planet Gur'latan for him, which Kira'na reluctantly accepts.
Kira'na's determination empowers her, but she refuses help from her loyal generals, even attacking them. Her strikes hit the reactor core, much to Sa'riya's shock. She reiterates her desire to defeat BoBoiBoy, who tells Fang to get himself to safety.
Back with the Kokotaim Gang, the girls find themselves running low on energy, having consumed their duration of the Oakuat juice's power-up effects. Gopal transforms into Yaya's cookies to finally defeat Gur'mida (who remarks that the cookies are horrible, much to Yaya's chagrin). Unfortunately, they find themselves surrounded.
BoBoiBoy Jungle and Fang ride on Jungle's Plantosaurs to appear before the rest of their friends. Jungle collapses in hunger and has to eat to recharge. Kira'na ambushes the group in this vulnerable moment and mocks Captain Kaizo's absence (he was rescuing the delegates who were taken hostage), saying they do not have anyone to save them. Fang is the last of the Kokotaim Gang to slurp his Oakuat juice and uses his newfound abilities to hold Kira'na off while BoBoiBoy eats to restore his energy. Jungle's enormous appetite proves too much for Qually to handle, and he asks Gopal to help him by making more ingredients for him to cook to satiate Jungle.
A now full Jungle helps Fang again incapacitate Kira'na, and the two boys try to reason with the villainess once again. Kira'na slashes Fang, who is fortunately caught by Gopal (whose powers haven't expired yet). Jungle manages to contain and defeat Kira'na with his powers, but the Voltra armor is destroyed in the process. Sa'riya reveals that the armor is required to contain the Voltra power; without it, the power will consume its wielder. The Kokotaim Gang immediately act to protect the Gur'latan people and evacuate them while BoBoiBoy goes to save Kira'na.
BoBoiBoy creates a giant tree to protect everyone from the Voltra power's volatile nature and again tries to reason with Kira'na, asking her to give him her sword. Kira'na initially refuses, but soon sees that her actions are harming her people. Kira'na, having realized the error of her ways, agrees to undergo a painful retransfer of the Voltra power to BoBoiBoy. Upon completion of the retransfer, BoBoiBoy then transforms into Thunderstorm for a moment, with Satriantar Ratna's spirit appearing before Kira'na, reassuring her that everything is fine now. While BoBoiBoy meets up with his friends, Kira'na has a vision of her family, and she asks them for forgiveness for her villainous actions.
The next day, Kaizo visits Kira'na who asks her how she is doing. He is later joined by everyone else, where Hang Kasa reveals that he asked Satriantar Ratna to come to safety with him, but the leader refused to leave her planet, telling him instead to find Ochobot while she holds Retak'ka off. Unfortunately, by the time Hang Kasa returned, Ratna was already gone. He then tells Kira'na that she had the same desire to protect her planet as her grandmother and father, but her choices differed. The leaders of other planets, Kuputeri, Yanaari, and Mas Gardu, forgive Kira'na and agree to help rebuild her planet. Koko Ci, on behalf of TAPOPS, thanks BoBoiBoy and his friends for saving the galaxy once more and allows them to return to Earth. BoBoiBoy requests to return to Rintis Island alongside Ochobot to take care of Tok Aba. The issue ends as BoBoiBoy reunites with his grandfather, with a caption after the last page that gives a message saying "BoBoiBoy and friends will be back."
