Their journey in Planet Rimbara is nearing its end, but only one will be crowned champion. Who will inherit the knowledge of Gaharum from generation to generation? BoBoiBoy or Qually?
Plot[]
Shocked by Qually's betrayal, BoBoiBoy and his friends are on their way back to Gaharum's house with only two ingredients. Qually was already in front of Gaharum's when the gang reached. Judging both groups, Gaharum declared Qually the winner. However, on Hang Kasa's advice, Gaharum gives BoBoiBoy a second chance by holding a cooking competition for Enchanted Tom Yam to prove his mettle.
Both teams were given three days to prepare. On the fated day, the arena was set with audience and Hang Kasa doing commentary. The contestants were given 60 minutes to prepare a dish resembling Gaharum's favorite Tomyam, and whoever serves the best dish will be deemed the winner and receive the requested prize: Gaharum's hereditary recipe book for Qually, or Oakuat seeds for BoBoiBoy to release latent powers.
BoBoiBoy started cooking by the method Tok Aba taught him back on Earth. BoBoiBoy split into five with BoBoiBoy Quake (as leader), Blaze, Thorn, Ice and Thunderstorm and distributed tasks among themselves. Quake arranges firewood in the kitchen, Ice washes vegetables; Blaze arranged the vegetables on the cooking table and lit out the stove; Thunderstorm chopped the ingredients carefully; and Thorn was tasked with preparing water for the gravy. Qually who cooks alone in a simple but agile way, from slicing onions, dicing radishes to splitting coconuts. When Hang Kasa announced that there were only 20 minutes left, BoBoiBoy Quake started to feel anxious because his side was a bit behind, while Qually had already started to stir up the sauce. Qually peels Blue Flame flowers into the sauce as a seasoning.
With 10 minutes left, Quake tasted the sauce and found it too spicy. Thunderstorm and Thorn come with coconut milk to pour into the sauce. Blaze found that the fire was not strong enough used his Flaming Breath, but the breath was so strong that the pot was completely covered in flames, making the situation even more alarming. Ice tried to save the day by using his Freezing Ice to put out the fire, but it was too much as the crater was completely covered in ice. Quake began to lose the spirit to continue competing. Ochobot opened a teleportal on the competition stage and brought Tok Aba here at Yaya's advice.
Tok Aba went to visit his grandson and told him that cooking not only requires knowledge but also patience and high determination. Quake regains focus. There were five minutes left, and Qually began to pour his tomyam into the bowl. Blaze held up his cauldron and melted the ice with Melting Heat. BoBoiBoy merged back and fuses Blaze and Ice into BoBoiBoy FrostFire. FrostFire used his powers to save the day and added finishing touches to the dish. Time is up, and both contestants present their work to the judges. Qually presents Galaxy Tomyam, After tasting, Gaharum comments that Qually has successfully combined the ingredients to produce "quite complex and detailed flavors" but was still lacking something. After Qually thanked and left, it was BoBoiBoy's turn to present his Tomyam to the judges.
After tasting it, Gaharum asks where BoBoiBoy learned to cook it. BoBoiBoy proudly replied that it was a family recipe passed down through generations. Gaharum praises BoBoiBoy's cooking as "quite unique" tomyam and has never tasted anything like this. After a long discussion, Gaharum and Hang Kasa appeared to announce the results of the competition. He declared the competition a draw as he moved both Tom Yams to create the perfect dish.
Gaharum congratulated both participants and presented their respective rewards. Qually accepts his teacher's recipe book and vows to learn all the recipes it contained to achieve his ambition.
