Trivia[]
- Satriantar Ratna was one of the 2 characters whose gender was uncertain or unconfirmed due to her musculine build and unrevealed face. The second being General Sa'riya but eventually being confirmed to be a female by her concept artist.
- She was later confirmed to be a female by a comic artist.
- followed by the actual confirmation by Nizam on facebook.
- She was later confirmed to be a female by a comic artist.
- The name Satriantar may come from a combination of both the words "satria" which means knight or warrior and "halilintar"
- Together, it creates the literal meaning "Lightning warrior/knight".
- Satriantar appears to have a strong resemblance to her granddaughter, Kira'na. Considering they have similar facial features and birthmarks that are under their eyes.
- Satriantar's real name is Ratna.
- The given name "Ratna" (also Rathna or Rathan) is a Sanskrit term for "jewel" or it can also be defined as "Ruby" or "Gemstone".
- It's figurative meaning is also "beautiful girl".
- Her name is also a reverse of "Antar" from Satriantar.
- The given name "Ratna" (also Rathna or Rathan) is a Sanskrit term for "jewel" or it can also be defined as "Ruby" or "Gemstone".
- She is the shortest among all the other original wielder of each elemental power.
- And could probably be the youngest out of them.
- According to Sa'riya, Satriantar's armor underlies the Voltra element.
- The armor is the regulator to the Voltra element.
- Meaning without the armor, she is not capable of controlling the Voltra element.
- In her concept art, Satriantar Ratna appears more old with wrinkles and graying hair, even her facial scars are more in number, and her skin colour is much more darker and tanned.
- Her hair is also different from the final design, wherein the inspiration of the Japanese hairstyle: Wareshinobu, is more visible.
- She was initially designed to be a "tough cookie".
- It’s possible that Satriantar Ratna is not the original master of Voltra, but rather she is just another one to wield it in a line of successors, as the power is passed down from generation to generation.
- If Ratna were the founder of the royal family, it wouldn’t make sense, as Gur'latan couldn’t have remained a stable empire with just one Empress, especially during its first time. The empire would have lacked leadership for a century as she died young and Kira'na presumably hadn’t been born yet, and that the people would not have much knowledge about royalty.
- If Ratna were the one to discover the Voltra power, this would mean that there has only been 3 generations of royalty to exist in Gur'latan: Ratna, Kul'dar, and Kira'na.
- The power wouldn't have been designated to be passed down due to Retak'ka stealing the power, which caused Ratna's downfall. It wouldn't have been recorded that Voltra is passed down through generations if it had never occurred, not even once.
- This would mean that the planet has only experienced monarchy with a reigning Empress once, which is Satriantar Ratna.
