Lightning and Thunder (Kilat dan Guruh) is the 22th issue of the second season of BoBoiBoy Galaxy, and the 29th issue overall in the series.
Synopsis[]
"After the successful defeat of Pak Pato and his robot army, the entire Planet Baraju celebrates the first-ever union between the Bara and Salju tribe. Security, which was once just a dream, has now become a reality.
However, Mister Pato, who managed to escaped with the Kemilau Ore, needs to be tracked down before something worse happens. And Fang discovers a crucial clue that will bring these Earth superheroes to a planet with extreme weather turmoil: Planet Gur'latan."
Plot[]
Warmaster Yanaari and Mas Gardu placed their hands on their ancestors' covenant Stone, marking the end of a hundred years of war between the Flame Tribe and the Snow Tribe. This glorious event was further enlivened with a feast served by Gopal and Qually. In the evening, BoBoiBoy examines the power cell fragments that fell from Pak Pato's robot . Fang points out that it is made of a metal which only comes from one place, Planet Gur'latan. Fang convinced them to leave the matter in his hands as he knew the best person to investigate it.
A month has passed since the end of the Baraju war. In the slums of Squatter Settlement, Thunder Core sector on the Planet Gur'latan, Fang along with his brother were chasing after Pak Pato. In the end Captain Kaizo captured him. Fang left for the conference while Captain Kaizo stayed behind to interrogate the villian.
For one month, BoBoiBoy received training from Hang Kasa to master his new elemental powers in the Crystal Cave, Planet Quabaq. One day, BoBoiBoy turns into BoBoiBoy Tempest under the supervision of Hang Kasa and Ochobot. Hang Kasa instructed him to focus on breaking only one piece of crystal. But Tempest lost control and barely managed to transform back.
A conference was held in the Thundercloud City of Planet Gur'latan which was attended by leading figures. Yaya, Ying, Gopal and Fang came wearing all blue uniforms representing TAPOPS. The four of them entered the main conference room, where Commander Koko Ci was seen chatting with Guru Gaharum from Planet Rimbara and King Gustosedia from Planet Bayugan; Toktaroka poses with Maripos representing Kuputeri who is busy rebuilding her planet.
The appearance of a female figure with long red hair greeted the four TAPOPS representatives, introduced by Fang as Kira'na, an old acquaintance, granddaughter of Satriantar; the original owner of the lightning element, and princess of Gur'latan. Kira'na enthusiastically greeted the team and praised them for their past achievements.She was disappointed to hear that BoBoiBoy was not attending.
Meanwhile, Captain Kaizo along with the handcuffed Pak Pato go to his hideout where he designs and assembles all his robots. Kaizo handcuffed Pak Pato to the wall pipe and went to inspect the place. Pak Pato took advantage by removing the handcuff key from his mouth and escaped, but Kaizo quickly tracked him down. Pak Pato pressed the emergency button that released the thick fog, then brought the crankshaft key in his possession to turn on his latest creation.
Koko Ci, Gaharum, Toktaroka, Maripos and King Gustosedia occupy seats at the round table. Koko Ci invited Princess Kira'na as the organizer of the conference to give the opening speech. Yaya, Ying and Gopal who were watching the conference from the edge of the hall with Fang.
In her speech, Kira'na said that the United Planets Organization was established 100 years ago by five elemental rulers, including her grandmother Empress Satriantar (alongside King Balakung, Kuputeri, Pyrapi and Mas Mawais), with the main goal of ensuring universal peace and well-being in among all its members. Kira'na continued that the PPB disbanded after the five elemental rulers were killed at the hands of Retak'ka, and therefore the representatives involved were invited to this conference to continue their legacy as new members of the PPB. She added that the re-establishment of PPB would involve new agendas, and the first agenda she proposed was the disbandment of TAPOPS.
The conference member objected but Kira'na stood firm on her opinion. Suddenly, Fang received an order from Kaizo to immediately evacuate the conference venue. He and his friends found a smoke bomb on the floor, and the smoke filled the entire room; Fang sensed they had been ambushed. Maripos fanned the thick smoke and they all started looking for other representatives. Kira'na appears to be being attacked by several robots, but then they are smashed to pieces by Fang wearing the Shadow Gorilla. Maripos waved his Fan and found more robots. TAPOPS members recognize them as Pak Pato's robots and start fighting.
With their respective powers, Yaya, Ying and Gopal, defeat as many robots as they can. Kira'na told Fang and Gopal to get all the other attendees to the other side of the bridge, and Ying and Yaya to help clear the way. The appearance of a robot that resembles Satriantar attacks and surprises Kira'na. Yaya and Ying prepare to attack but are suddenly knocked unconscious by someone behind them.
Gopal and Fang lead the representatives of the planets to the main hall of Thundercloud City across the bridge. Meanwhile, Fang tries to contact Kaizo. Suddenly the Satriantar robot suddenly appears on the bridge and knocks down everything on the bridge with its lightning beam. Kira'na comes and tells that Ying and Yaya have passed out and they are all surrounded, and they can only count on BoBoiBoy to defend the fate of the entire galaxy.
Meanwhile on Planet Quabaq, the Oakuat tree had fully matured and borne its fruit. Just as BoBoiBoy was to eat the red fruit, Gopal's emergency message came asking for his help.
