Hang Kasa, or known as Tok Kasa by BoBoiBoy in BoBoiBoy Movie 2, is the Ruler of the Crystal Element. He holds the power of the tier-3 Crystal element, after Earth and Quake as he said.
History[]
Early Life[]
As he mentioned in BoBoiBoy Movie 2, he and Retak'ka were best friends when they were kids. After they each found GammaBot and CrystalBot (Retak'ka taking GammaBot and Hang Kasa taking CrystalBot), together they become unbeatable in battles but for Retak'ka it was not enough. Retak'ka became greedy and turned to villainy.
100 years prior to BoBoiBoy Movie 2, Retak'ka is seen fighting Hang Kasa in his Crystal armour somewhere in the galaxy. Their battle ends when Hang Kasa using his power to encase Retak'ka in crystal, then using Ochobot to absorb and store Retak'ka's powers (which leads to Ochobot giving BoBoiBoy his powers). After the event Hang Kasa start living in Planet Quabaq.
BoBoiBoy Movie 2[]
He is first mentioned by Koko Ci, who orders BoBoiBoy to find him at his home after Retak'ka's attack destroys TAPOPS Station. He trains Boboiboy and Gopal to help them defeat Retak'ka after the villain stole BoBoiBoy's elemental powers (except for Earth, Fire, and Water).
After completing the training, Hang Kasa steals BoBoiBoy's Quake powers to wield his Crystal form once more and defeat his old friend. However, presumably due to his age, Retak'ka easily defeated him and absorbed the element. He gives a powerful speech to BoBoiBoy, motivating him, before Retak'ka seemingly kills him. This enrages BoBoiBoy enough for him to unlock Elemental Fusions for the first time, combining his remaining elements to become BoBoiBoy FrostFire.
He later reveals to Gopal that he was still alive, having only been knocked unconscious by Retak'ka's attack. In the movie's epilogue, he narrates how the elements are safe with BoBoiboy, only for the latter to discover he was still alive. The two then share a heartwarming reunion.

- Crystal Barrier: A defense technique for Hang Kasa by raising the crystals to protect himself. This technique is similar to Earth Barrier.
- Crystal Keris: A long keris with a pattern of sharp crystals. This weapon is used in the comic BoBoiBoy Movie 2 - Evolution of Power.

- The name 'Hang Kasa' is a mix of words of "Hang" (a title for men in the past, for example Hang Tuah) and "angkasa", which means 'space' in Malay.
