BoBoiBoy Sori is an Elemental Fusion between BoBoiBoy Thorn and BoBoiBoy Solar. He debuted in The Merging of Two Powers!.
Biography
The Merging of Two Powers! (Comic)
While BoBoiBoy, Adu Du, and Probe were trapped by the Alpha Jumbosaur, BoBoiBoy splits himself into Solar and Thorn. The two perform an Elemental Fusion, marking Sori's debut.
Sori jokes around with Adu Du and Probe, playfully apologizing to them before blasting the Alpha Jumbosaur with light explosions. After defeating the plant-dinosaur hybrid, Sori pranks the squarehead by preparing to blast him as well, before saying he was just kidding, causing Adu Du and Probe to run away.
The Merging of Two Powers (Episode)
When Ying, Yaya and the MYS Justice are being overwhelmed by the Jumbosaur, BoBoiBoy Solar and BoBoiBoy Thorn decide to merge. However, before fusing with each other, they have a small argument about whether to name their fusion "Sunflower" or "Photosynthesis". This conversion is interrupted when Ying and Yaya yell at them, telling them to hurry up. After they apologize, Gopal decides that their fusion's name would be "Sori". Agreeing to the name, Solar and Thorn finally merge to become BoBoiBoy Sori.
When he finally defeats the Jumbosaur, BoBoiBoy Sori scares Adu Du and Probe just like how he did in the comic version.
Appearance
Sori's cap is a slightly modified version of Solar's. It is white with Solar's yellow patterns and orange spines, the grey part is replaced with green, the yellow lines on the bill are replaced with light green and are slightly altered. There is a yellow line running along the bill's edges. Unlike Solar, he doesn't wear sunglasses. Sori contains colors and motifs of both Solar (yellow and white) and Thorn (black and green). He wears a jacket, which is adorned with both white and green accents and adorn a black arm warmer and other yellow, representing the two elements. He wears a grey vest, underneath his jacket. Unlike other elements, his jacket doesn't have a zip in the middle. He wears Thorn's glove on his right hand and a glove similar to Solar's (which is also covered by a black and green hand band with green spikes) on his left hand. Sori wears white pants, where two belts, one yellow and one green, crisscross at the center. Its one leg has green patterns and the other has yellow. Similarly, his one shoe is green and the other is orange.
Personality
Being a fusion of Thorn and Solar he has an innocent and narcissistic personality. He likes to make puns out of his name showing his childishness he got from Thorn's side. Despite this childlike humour he still has Solar's cool and narcissistic posture and demeanour making him a blend of two opposite personalities.
Powers and Abilities
As a fusion of Solar and Thorn, Sori has both light-based and plant-based attacks up his sleeves.

- Sori Durian Smash (Libasan Durian Sori) - Sori swings his flail at his opponent. He is capable of increasing the size of the striking head before impact to increase damage done.
- Sori Durian Twirl (Lilitan Durian Sori) - Sori throws his flail and wraps it around his target. He then pulls it, ripping the target into two.
- Thorny Flower Bloom (Bunga Mekar Berduri) - Sori slams his flail into the ground and sprouts a massive plant that he uses to perform Super Sori Shot.
- Super Sori Shot (Tembakan Sori Berduri) - Sori fires a massive beam of energy from his sprouted flower.
Sori also charges up a solar-based attack to mess with Adu Du and Probe, causing them to run away without realizing that it was just a prank.
Trivia
- Sori is a portmanteau of Solar and Duri (Malay name of Thorn), which are the elements that form this fusion.
- His name also has the same pronunciation as the word "sorry" in English.
- Sori is the plural form of Sorus, are groups of sporangia, where it is defined as a cluster of structures producing and containing spores.
- Sori apologizes by saying "sorry" instead of "Maaf", the Malay word of the same meaning.
- Sori's Thorny Flower Bloom references a durian flower.
- Sori is the only elemental fusion that speaks different languages in the Malay DUB.
