BoBoiBoy Galaxy Gentar is the third short-series of all four series of the second season of BoBoiBoy Galaxy. It comprises the 3 issues of the Gentar Arc into 4 episodes. It was announced at MonstaCon 2023 to release in December 2024. On November 15, 2024, it received it's trailer, then it's Official poster, and then the official premiere on December 21, 2024.

- It was announced originally that this arc (along with Baraju Arc) will combined together as one arc and titled into BoBoiBoy Galaxy Dwifusion after the release of BoBoiBoy Galaxy Windara.
- Coincidentally, after revealing the next title of new arc on the post credit scene from The Battle for Windara! (Episode), Monsta announced that the two remaining arcs would be separated again due to the number of episodes for two arcs are not enough to combine into one arc (Dwifusion).
- This is the first (and only) short story of the entire animated Galaxy Season 2 where a certain arc consists of only four animated episodes (since the original comic have three issues). Unlike from the animated Sori Arc and Windara Arc, it have six episodes each.
- In addition, this animated arc also experienced many changes from the comic itself; just like happened from the previous animated arc.
- X99 Security Droids never appeared in the animation; as well as the base weapon, the Plasma Sword. They were entirely appeared in the comic series.
- In this animated arc, this is the first time mentioning about the Nova element and Warmaster Pyrapi while they still on the way toward Planet Volcania for the possible intel coming from Roktaroka.
- This is a probable hint for mentioning about Pyrapi and the Nova element in this animated arc to let BoBoiBoy access that power (which will be revealed soon in BoBoiBoy Galaxy Baraju).
- This animated arc marked as the return of Roktaroka since Making Waves (2017).
- But in the comic version, he appeared entirely in Baraju Arc after Rumble Arc.
- This animated arc contains several references from the Original Series.
